BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR FAMILY ASSAULT

A Brenham man faces a family violence charge after his arrest
Saturday night, just before 11:30, Cpl. Todd Ashorn responded to the 2500 block of S. Market St. in reference to an assault.
During the investigation, it was found that a suspect, identified as 40-year old Glenn Codie Howard of Brenham, had allegedly struck the victim and attempted to choke her.
Howard was arrested at the scene and charged with Assault family violence, impeding breathing.
