BRENHAM WOMAN FACES ASSAULT CHARGE
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham woman faces family violence charges after her arrest Sunday night.
Around 7 p.m., Officer Mark Pierce responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of South Park St.
The caller said a verbal altercation had turned physical.
At the scene, Pierce arrested 34-year old Bertha Chavez.
Chavez is charged with Assault causing bodily injury/family violence.
