FAYETTE COUNTY GRASS FIRE

  

Tuesday afternoon at 12:21pm the Fayette County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call reporting a grass fire on Bear Creek Road near FM 2145. The LaGrange Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene along with Deputy Garrett Durenberger.

Once on location LaGrange Fire Dept. requested assistance with a water tank truck from the Round Top Warrenton Fire Department.

The fire was quickly contained and no structures were damaged. It is believed that the fire started from a previously controlled burn.
