BRENHAM P.D. MAKES DRUG ARRESTS
Brenham Police were busy this weekend with a slew of drug possession arrests.
Saturday night, just before midnight, Officer Sierra Newell responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 2000 block of FM 389.
Newell says the two occupants, 29-year old Lacy Laureen Andrade and 30-year old Juan Carlos Contreras—both of Brenham—were smoking methamphetamines in the vehicle.
Each were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Friday afternoon, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Barbee and Alamo streets.
During the stop, Dispatch confirmed the driver, 31-year old Terrance Omell Moore of Chappell Hill, was driving with an invalid license with previous convictions. T
During an inventory of the vehicle, ecstasy was found.
Moore is charged with Possession of a controlled substance.
Friday morning, Cpl. Lance Weiss received reports of a marijuana smell coming from a bathroom at Brenham High School.
18-year old Brandarian Dion Cloud, of Brenham is charged with Possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
Saturday morning, Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Hayes and Muse streets.
When he approached the vehicle, Dudenhoeffer says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana. 17-year old Megan Danielle Todd of Brenham, admitted to having marijuana.
She is charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Sunday morning, around 1 a.m., Officer Terrence Johnson conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Jackson.
Johnson said he could smell marijuana. During a probable cause search marijuana was found in the car.
All three occupants: 21-year old Brandon Trevail Harrison, of Cypress; 20-year old Lance Isiah Howard, of Cypress and 18-year old Destiny Lashae Elizabeth Tolden, of Brenham are each charged with Possession of marijuana.
