SUSPICIOUS DEVICE FOUND IN CALDWELL

  

On Tuesday just before 1:00pm, several officers responded to a call in reference to a suspicious device in the 400 block of West Fawn St. in Caldwell.

Officers from the Caldwell Police Department, Burleson County Sheriff’s Office, and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded, secured the entire block, and called the College Station PD Bomb Squad to assist in investigating the device. Burleson St Joes CHI EMS and the Caldwell Fire Department were also placed on standby at the scene.

The device was then rendered safe by the CSPD Bomb Squad.
