LADY LIONS PRESENT AWARDS

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club announced their annual awards at their recent meeting.

The Lion of the Year was Thresia Oberhoff Schlabach.  Rookies of the year are; Lori Balusek and Carol Hutchins.

Awards for prefect attendance and worker bees were also announced.

The special courage recognition award went to Cindy Schaper and spirit of Lionsism Achievement was presented to Deloris Draehn.    Lion Peggy Kramer  was awarded the Lionsism finance award. Members of the Board and helpers were also recognized.

Past International Director and current Texas Ambassador for Lions Club International Foundation  Joe Al Picone announced the clubs first Melvin Jones Fellowship winner was Linda J. Oberhoff.   The club received a large patch for their banner to signify the first Melvin Jones Fellowship for their club along with a chevron with the current Lion year.
