SEVEN SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
A Brenham man has been sentenced to six years behind bars in the latest session of 21st District Court.
47-year old Randall Scott Guerra of Brenham was arrest back in March following a hit-and-run accident near the old Brenham Police Station on North Chappell Hill St.
Guerra was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to Driving While Intoxicated—3rd Offense, a third-degree felony.
Also in 21st District Court:
32-year old Joshua Curtis of Bryan was sentenced to four years in prison and had his probation adjudicated for a 2015 conviction of Possession of a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
Curtis was also sentenced to 12 months in jail on a charge of Evading Arrest with a Previous Conviction.
He was also fined $1,000.
22-year old Derrick Green of Houston was sentenced to 32 months in prison and had his probation revoked for a 2013 conviction for Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was also fined $500.
40-year old Gwendolyn Rochelle Chambers of Wellborn was sentenced to two years in prison on a 2012 charge of Forgery.
43-year old Shane Kullberg of Austin was place on seven years’ probation and fined $1000 for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to perform 280 hours of community service.
31-year old Juan Carlos Contreras-Valencia of Brenham was placed on three years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 120 hours of community service.
And, 18-year old Devun Cooksey of Brenham was placed on three years’ probation and fined $750 for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle. He was also ordered to perform 150 hours of community service and had his license suspended for six months.
