BLINN OFFERS FREE TAXPAYER BUSINESS SEMINAR
The Blinn College Small Business Development Center is offering a free seminar to help business owners better understand the Texas sales tax.
The two-hour seminar will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) August, 3rd, at the Student Center on the Brenham campus.
The workshop will feature Michael Stegint, an enforcement officer at the Texas Comptroller’s office in Houston. He will explain proper record-keeping and filing requirements for business owners who must collect and file state sales tax. A question and answer segment will be held after his presentation.
