MEET THE CUBS BRINGS OUT THE COMMUNITY
The Brenham community turned out to show their support at “Meet the Cubs” yesterday (Wednesday) at Cubs Stadium.
The pre-season football tradition allowed the community to be introduced to the 2016 Cubs and Cubettes, Band Members, and Cheerleaders. Everyone who attended enjoyed hot dogs and cake.
After the “Meet the Cubs” event, the Cross Country Team held their annual Green and White Race on the track at Cubs Stadium.
The Cubs will open the season this Friday night at home to Houston Westside. Kickoff at Cubs Stadium is 7:30. The game can be heard beginning at 7:00 on KWHI and www.kwhi.com.
