BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO TRAPPED DRIVER

  

Brenham Fire Department responded to an accident on Wednesday.

The accident happened at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Highway 290 Feeder Road in front of Penske Truck Rental. When the Fire Department arrived, they found a Kia Soul had collided with a Ford F-250. The driver of the Kia was trapped inside the vehicle.

The Fire Department removed the door from the Kia and the driver was extricated and treated by EMS personnel. The driver was stable and talking as she was loaded into the ambulance for transport.

All others involved were assessed on scene and did not require medical treatment.
