WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR QUEENS DONATE TICKETS TO FAITH MISSION
Families that are part of Faith Mission's Science, Math, Art, Reading, and Technology (SMART) program will be able to attend the Washington County Fair for free this year thanks to a donation by the Fair Queen Candidates.
The Washington County Fair Queen candidates donated thirty-one season passes to Faith Mission in Brenham on Wednesday. Queen candidates Indigo Podeszwa, Alexis Chaudron, Holli Baker and Carli Conway met with Executive Director of Faith Missions, Rev. Randy Wells.

The SMART program is an after-school group for children classified as homeless by the school district’s standards. The program offers participants a safe environment to study with tutors, complete assignments, and have fun after school. Each year, more than 30 families receive academic and enrichment services from the program.
The Washington County Fair is set for September 9th through the 17th. The Fair Queen will be crowned September 10th at 6 p.m. at a ceremony at the Entertainment Pavilion. Season tickets are available from the Queen candidates for $25 each. Tickets can be purchased through the Queen candidates from August 1st until September 9th at 5 p.m. The price for season tickets increases to $30 if purchased at the gate.
