Members of the Washington County Food Project Group and County 4-H Council are coordinating a food drive this week to benefit Brenham Faith Mission’s Food Pantry.

Blue Bell Creameries employees Trina Crenshaw and Rebecca Dupre visit with 4-Hers Briley and Della Jasinski and Dawson and Madison Moran to share food items for the food drive.

 

Community supporters are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items to the Blue Bell Creameries Tour Center this week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Members in 4-H in the county are also participating in a Food Scavenger Hunt this Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.  Members will go around town collecting food door to door and have some fun at the same time by asking for food items on their list.  Event organizers are asking people to consider putting a bag together of food items for the cause. All of the food will be donated to the pantry just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
