BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER HOSTING BLOOD DRIVE TOMORROW
Blue Bell Aquatic Center is hosting a blood drive tomorrow (Thursday).
Aquatics Supervisor Tammy Jaster says the drive will be going on from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.:
The blood donated during the event will be used locally in the Brazos Valley for those in need. Donors can sign up by visiting commitforlife.org or by visiting the Blue Bell Aquatic Center’s Facebook page.
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center began operations on Jan. 1, 1975. Serving the largest medical campus in the world, The Blood Center has grown to more than 650 employees and serves more than 170 hospitals and health care institutions in the 26-county Texas Gulf Coast, Brazos Valley and East Texas regions.
To meet the needs of the area community, The Blood Center must collect about 1,000 donations every day.
