BRENHAM PLANNING AND ZONING TO CONSIDER NEW BLINN HOUSING
The Brenham Planning and Zoning commission is set to discuss the replat of property that Blinn College would like to use for student housing.
On Monday, the commission will consider the approval of a replat of a 12.7 acre tract at Old Mill Creek Road and Saeger Street.
In the replat, seven acres would be used for student housing, with the remaining five acres being designated as a reserve. The housing project would have rooms for approximately 465 students.
The commission will also consider the approval of a final plat for 2.6 acres at Old Mill Creek Road and Willow Grove Street. Blinn is seeking to use that property for parking at the new student housing.
The commission will meet Monday at city hall (200 W. Vulcan) at 5:15 p.m.
