UNITY THEATRE HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION
Unity Theatre will be holding auditions to cast 17 children between the ages of 6 to 15 in the December production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! The play performs on the Unity Theatre main stage November 29th through December 3, 2017, and actors of diverse backgrounds and ethnicity are encouraged to audition.
Auditions are by appointment only, and will be held on Saturday August 12, 2017. Call Kate Revnell-Smith at (979) 830-1460 to schedule an appointment time. Please bring a current picture & completed audition form with any rehearsal or performance conflicts noted. Come prepared to sing your favorite Christmas song, acapella (without music). The chorus or favorite 16 bars will be sufficient. Be prepared to read from any of the age appropriate speeches included in the audition packet. Audition packets are available in the Unity Theatre office (300 Church Street) beginning July 31st.
