NEW ULM MAN ARRESTED ON DRUGS/WEAPONS CHARGES

An Austin County man is in Washington County Jail after his arrest on sever charges following a traffic stop.
Monday evening Patrol Officer Eddie Martinez pulled over a vehicle driven by 47-year old John D. Johnson of New Ulm, the 500 Block of US HWY 290 East.
A search of the vehicle turned up narcotics and multiple weapons.
Johnson was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
