LADY LIONS TO MEET TODAY
The Washington County Ladies Lions Club will meet at noon Monday at the Cannery in downtown Brenham.
Hope Rising Ministries will present the mission of their organization.
Sheri Clement, Founder and Executive director, is working to end human sex trafficking, providing outreach, awareness and after care of placement for victims of trafficking and exploitation.
The club will discuss their Sevice project for 9-11.
Scholarship winner Paige Fisher will speak on the benefits of being selected as the 2017 club scholarship winner.
The public is invited to attend, reservations are not required.
