BACKYARD BULL BASH IN LA GRANGE POSTPONED INTO FALL
The 15th Annual Backyard Bull Bash in La Grange has been postponed for a second time.
The bull-riding event benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas was set for Friday after being postponed from May 24th. However, event organizers have made the decision to postpone the event once again into the fall.
Organizers say they cannot hold the event without approval from local officials, who cannot give their approval unless the event can adhere to strict guidelines from the state. Last week, Governor Greg Abbott passed an executive order prohibiting gatherings of over 100 people unless they are permitted by the local governing body.
A new date for the event has not been set, but organizers are considering rescheduling it in October.
