BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON INDECENCY WITH A CHILD CHARGE
A Brenham man is in police custody after his arrest Friday afternoon on multiple charges.

Friday afternoon Cpl. Lance Weiss was called to the 2400 block of S. Chappell Hill St. to a suspicious person report.
The caller said a man was beating at her front door and she didn’t know him.
While officers were enroute, another caller said the man had grabbed her 15-year-old daughter.
When Weiss arrived, the suspect, identified as 23-year old Albert Tramane Royster of Brenham, fled to the backyard of a residence on Cheyenne St.
Weiss was able to detain Royster, who he says appeared to be under the influence of an unknown narcotic and gave officers a false name and date of birth.
Royster was transported by EMS to Scott and White, and after being cleared, was taken to the Washington County jail an charged with Indecency with a child, Assault causing physical contact, criminal mischief failure to identify and evading arrest
