A 45 year old Brenham man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child.  Jason Holle was arrested at a residence Wednesday by Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies.

According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, on September 2nd, Investigator Clay Bosse responded to a residence on Kettler Road in reference to an allegation of sexual assault of a child. Sergeant Bosse conducted a investigation which led to Holle being identified as a suspect. A felony arrest warrant was issued with Holle being arrested on Wednesday.

The original bond of $100,000 was set by Precinct 1 Justice of Peace Douglas Zwiener which was later reduced to $50,000 by Judge Zwiener after amending conditions of the bond. Holle was released from the Washington County jail after posting bond.

  1. The Justice of the Peace is an ELECTED position. We are not powerless here. Just “think” when you go to the polls!

  2. I see bonds set higher for crimes that don’t have nearly the effect on an individual as this crime has on an innocent child. There should be no bond!! I know it’s “innocent until proven guilty”, but in cases such as this it should be “guilty until proven innocent”.

  3. I read about local teenagers getting caught dealing pot and landing bonds of 100K or more. This guy molests a child and only gets a 50K bond???? And now he’s back out on the street. Really???

  4. Why did his bond get lower so he could hurt a another child cause that’s what’s gone happen stop lower their bond keep them lock up .
