CARMINE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CASINO NIGHT CANCELLED

CARMINE NIGHT OUT, CHRISTMAS FEST STILL SCHEDULED

After being postponed from August into October, the 6th Annual Carmine Chamber of Commerce Casino Night has been cancelled.

The event was scheduled for October 10th at the Carmine Hall.  Chamber President Marlene Waak said event organizers looked into ways to hold the event outside to keep with COVID-19 requirements, but could not figure out a way to do so.

Waak said the Chamber still plans to hold Carmine Night Out in conjunction with the Carmine Volunteer Fire Department.  The event, which will include a flag retirement ceremony, is scheduled for October 15th at the Carmine Fire Station, beginning at 6 p.m.

Plans are also still in place to host the Carmine Christmas Fest December 6th at the Carmine Hall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Vendors will be welcome, and kettle-cooked beef stew and old-fashioned burgers will be sold.  To place an order or to sign up as a vendor, call Waak at 979-451-1507.
