DION PRIDE DRAWS RECORD ATTENDANCE FOR BLUEBONNET OPRY

Thursday night’s Friends of Bluebonnet Opry concert was one for the record books.
A record 649 people came to Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham for this month’s Bluebonnet Opry, which hosted Dion Pride, son of famous country music artist Charley Pride.
The previous attendance record of 627 stood for several years.
Friends of Bluebonnet Opry hosts a performance every third Thursday of the month at Silver Wings Ballroom. Proceeds from the event benefit Hospice Brazos Valley.
