ESTATE AND LEGAL PLANNING SEMINARS AUGUST 27TH IN BRENHAM, LA GRANGE

  

A pair of estate and legal planning seminars will be held later this month in Washington and Fayette Counties.

On Tuesday, August 27th, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will present the programs at the Washington and Fayette County Extension Offices.  Fayette County’s program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon, while Washington County’s will run from 1 to 4 p.m.

The seminars will focus on overview of estate and transition planning, business entities and trusts, and understanding probate and probate alternatives.  Two multi-generational agriculturalists and attorneys will provide presentations and be available to visit with attendees.

Lunch will be provided at each event courtesy of Citizens State Bank, Texas Farm Credit, Capital Farm Credit, and AgWorkers Insurance.

Preregistration is now open and accepted online at https://washington.agrilife.org/estateplanning.  Preregistration is $30 per person through August 20th, and $40 onsite at either of the extension offices.

The Washington County Extension Office can be found at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham, and the Fayette County office at 255 Svoboda Lane in La Grange.
