Amateur Radio Operators to Participate in National Ham Radio Exercise

Washington County Amateur Radio Club will be participating in a national ham radio exercise on Saturday, June 25^th and Sunday, June 26^th.  Organized by the Amateur Radio Relay League (AARL), Field Day is the largest all-volunteer radio operators to establish temporary ham radio station, test emergency communications equipment, and demonstrate their skills and service.  Radio signals, which travel beyond geographical borders, bring people together to serve their communities through public service and emergency communications.  Field Day isn’t just for Amateur Radio operators!  Anyone interested in learning more about ham radio is invited to attend.  All visitors must pre-register by contacting the club on Facebook or through the club’s website at https://www.w5aum.org.  License exams will be offered throughout the event.
