Brenham Evening Lions Club Meeting

September 16

The Brenham Evening Lion’s Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at The Cannery Kitchen with the meal starting at 6:30 PM.
August 19 - Brenham Representatives from Boys and Girls State will provide the program.
September 2 - live demonstration of the KidSight program that the Lions use to assist the Brenham schools with eyesight evaluations.
September 16 - Washington County EMS to present a “Hands Only” CPR program.  This meeting will start earlier with the meal at 6:00 PM
Make your reservations to attend any or all of these events by contacting Brenham Evening Lions Club President Charles Sander; 979-836-2356 at least 48 hours in advance.

Also upcoming is the much-anticipated semi-annual Lion’s BBQ Chicken or Stuffed Baked Potato Dinner on October 21st.  Tickets can be purchased from any Brenham Evening Lions member after September 2nd.  Proceeds go toward helping the Brenham Evening Lions fund local programs. This is also a food drive for Bread Partners, so don’t forget your nonperishable food items.

As usual for all volunteer organizations the Brenham Evening Lions Club is always looking for new members who have an eye for helping the community and world become a better place.  Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion!
