“Foodways of Washington County” Tasting Events

The Brenham Heritage Museum is hosting a temporary exhibit entitled “Foodways of Washington County”.  This series of tasting events, which involves local businesses, is a mix of good food & drink and the local history of how cuisine shaped our community. The next tasting events are as follows:
January 5 - New Contributions with Jet Set Chocolates
January 19 - Beer! with Mike Hopkins Distributing, Brazos Valley Brewing, & Brenham Charcuterie Boards
February 9 - African American Cuisine with L.A. Chicken Shack & Wild Flour Bakery. Brenham Heritage Museum members get a discount. Individual tickets are $40 for members and $55 for non-members.  Tickets include food, beverages, a brief history talk, and museum admission. All tastings will be capped at 50 people.  Stop by the museum Wednesday - Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM to get your tickets.
