TxDOT will begin Intersection Improvements (Brenham)

TxDOT will begin intersection improvements at US 290 and FM 2679 beginning on Monday, Sept. 8, the project will include the installation of a new traffic signal as well as widening of the roadway in both directions to add dedicated right and left turn lanes along US 290.  TxDOT urges all motorists to stay alert, follow posted signs, and watch for traffic control personnel throughout the duration of the project
