The Brenham Cubs will host Oakridge in their season opener on Friday, August 25, at Cub Stadium. Due to the heat, the start time has been moved back to 8pm. KWHI will broadcast the game live beginning with the pregame show at 7:30pm.
Registration is open for Hospice Brazos Valley’s 12th Annual Hog Splash Mud Volleyball Tournament. Teams of 8-10 people will gather at Slovacek’s Sausage in Snook on August 26th starting at 10 a.m. to play around in volleyball pits that are soaked into mud. The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team will be competing on Day Three of "The Battle of the Brazos" Tournament on Saturday, August 26. The games are being held at Fulshear High School.
The Blinn Buccaneer Football Team will open their season at home against Louisiana Community Christian College. Kickoff is at 7pm at Cub Stadium in Brenham. KWHI will broadcast the game live beginning with the pregame at 6:30pm.
