LOCAL AUTHORITIES WORK NUMBER OF MINOR ACCIDENTS MONDAY

  

 

Brenham emergency crews had a busy day Monday, as they were called out to a number of minor auto accidents.

Monday morning, just before 10:00, two vehicles collided at South Market and Main Street.  No injuries were reported and a small amount of fluids were washed from the roadway.

At 3:00 p.m. two vehicles collided at East Alamo and Ross streets.  There were no reported injuries and no fluid leaks.

At 6:00 p.m. an accident was reported at Highway 36 South and the feeder road for Highway 290.  The Brenham Fire Department assisted with traffic control and helped remove debris from the roadway.

Just over an hour later, another minor two-vehicle accident was reported on Highway 290 West near the cloverleaf.  Units arrived to find two vehicles in the roadway and no serious injuries.

Finally, at 9:15 a vehicle ran off the road in the 1200 block of Affleck Road, east of Highway 36 north near Gay Hill.

The driver was out of the vehicle when authorities arrived at the scene.
