MONTGOMERY COUNTY FIRST GRADE TEACHER BUSTED FOR DRUGS

  

A 31-year old first grade teacher in Montgomery County has been arrested for possessing more than 100 grams of black tar heroin,, 50 grams of a drug known as GHB,  and a large assortment of Alderall, Xanax and Oxycontin.

According to the Montgomery County Precinct Constables,  Monica Quintero was arrested early Wednesday morning in an investigation that began late Tuesday night.

The law enforcement officers came to her apartment in Porter because neighbors complained of a foul smell.

Once inside, investigators also found thousands of dollars worth of tools, several Segway scooters and several weapons.  The officers found at least eight firearms that had been reported stolen.

Quintero teaches bilingual education to first graders in the Humble ISD School District.  The district released a statement saying that with the arrest, the teacher was immediately put on leave while the charges work their way through the court system.

Quintero was arrested along with her boyfriend, 31-year old Andrew Barclay Zick, 34-year old Mackinley Breeden and 30-year old James Robert Zipperer.

Quintero and Zipperer are both being held on three counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
