THREE SENTENCED FOR FELONY DRUG POSSESSION IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Three Brenham men plead guilty to felony drug offenses this week in 21st Judicial District Court.
42-year-old Jason Thomas Manseill had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to four years in prison for a October 2016 offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a third degree felony. Manseill will also have to pay a $118 fine.
30-year-old Duke Marks was sentenced to three years deferred adjudication probation for Attempted Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, a state jail felony. Marks, who was arrested in January for the offense, will also have to pay a $500 fine and a $180 lab fee, perform 200 hours of community service restitution, attend a drug offender education program, and undergo drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment.
29-year-old Jonathan Xavier Johnson received four years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a state jail felony. Johnson, arrested in August of 2018, will also have to pay a $500 fine and a $180 lab fee, perform 200 hours of community service, attend a drug offender education program, and receive drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment.
