TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST OF PASSENGER

A passenger in a vehicle was arrested Tuesday afternoon with a stolen gun in Brenham. Brenham Police report that yesterday (Tuesday) at 5:20 PM, Sergeant Joseph Merkley initiated a traffic stop in the 500 block of US Highway 290 West. The passenger, 17 year old Emmanuel Santana of Brenham, was arrested for possession of a stolen handgun as well as 1.1 grams of THC oil. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
