TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL WARRANTS
Brenham Police have arrested two people on outstanding warrants.
Monday, officers responded to a complaint in the 2400 block of Stone Hollow Drive.
At the scene, it was discovered that the caller, 20-year old Dayronn McCowan of Brenham, was wanted on an active warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Burglary of a Habitation.
McCowan was placed in custody and transported to Washington County Jail.
Earlier in the day, police were dispatched to the 800 block of Hosea Street in reference to a welfare concern.
Investigation revealed that 46-year old Jennifer Huery of Brenham had an active warrant for Theft Between $750-and-$2500.
She was also taken to the Washington County Jail.
