TXDOT INVITES PUBLIC TO COMMENT ON PROPOSED PROJECTS

  

The Texas Department of Transportation will conduct a public meeting to allow for comments for updates to the 2015 Unified Transportation Program, which is the agency’s plan for project development for the next 10 years.

TXDOT will give citizens a chance to review and provide comment on project recommendations developed by the Metropolitan Planning Organizations and TXDOT Districts, scheduled to be funded by the passing of Proposition 1, passed in November, to fund 1.74 billion in planned projects.

The public may get more information and  may participate in this meeting via the web at http://www.txdot.gov/inside-txdot/get-involved/unified-transportation-program.html or in person at the local TXDOT District Office.

TXDOT will accept formal comments regarding the proposed UTP updates from January 23 to February 23, an can be submitted via email to  TPP UTP@txdot.gov, or by phone at 1-800-687-8108, or may be sent by mail to:
