“WALK WITH A DOC” SATURDAY AND MONDAY

The Brenham Clinic and City of Brenham will offer two opportunities to “Walk with a Doc” in April. “Walk with a Doc” is a free, non-profit program that provides a chance to get your daily steps in along with some health education. Each event begins with a short health talk followed by a 30-minute walk.

This Saturday, April 28 at 9:00 AM, the group will gather at the Hohlt Park Amphitheatre.  Dr. Andrew de Jong, Otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) specialist will discuss “Allergies, Sinuses and Springtime Remedies.” Members from the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County will be leading the walk.

On Monday, April 30, beginning at 12 noon, the group will meet at the Blinn Campus Track – south side bleachers.   Donna Tomlinson, will discuss “Alcohol Awareness and Dependence” as part of Alcohol Awareness Month.

Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family and take part in one walk or the entire series. Water, snacks and t-shirts provided. For more information, call (979) 337-7254.
