ALTON THIRD GRADER WINS GRAND HALLOWEEN PRIZE

Dozens of youngsters now have great new prizes, along with a big bucket of candy and treats thanks to the Annual KWHI Halloween Party.

The weather cleared in time for a mass of children, costumed as ghosts, goblins,  Power Rangers, and Space Aliens, went door to door, gathering candy during the early evening hours but many of them returned early to get a special phone call from our own spooks at KWHI.

The lucky winners received Hisence Sero 7 Lite Tablet, four tickets to Sea World, a Furby Boom, a Disney Doc McStuffins Checkup Center, tickets to the Renaissance Festival, tickets to the Brazos Valley Maize and of course, the grand prize, a 20” bike from Brenham Tire and Auto.

That prize went to eight year old Ania Ross, a third grader at Alton Elementary School.

For over 50 years KWHI has been urging youngsters to get their trick or treating early, so they can win these great prizes.
