  1. This young man did turn himself in. That tells me he does have a conscience. Somewhere along the way he did learn to take responsibility for his own actions. Yes, he did something wrong. All of us have. I hope that he has learned from his mistakes and will not repeat them.

  2. Life is interesting, my spouse works in the public schools and so daily I listen to stories of kids who are not being taught the basic rules of living in a civil society, kids whose parents believe their precious babies could do no wrong EVER, and who will stop at nothing to ensure those precious babies never face any type of consequence for their actions. Then the school does very little to impose discipline for fear of upsetting those parents and the little thugs they are raising and so we are left with a generation of entitled thugs who think the rules don’t apply to them. They think they should be able do whatever they wish, showing no respect for other people and their property. Then we get to read that we should not judge, ARE YOU KIDDING ME! We must absolutely call out and demand the people follow the rules and that failure to do so will result in serious consequences, this should start in the schools and continue into adult society. We are not judging people to spend an eternity in hell, we are simply saying follow the rules or pay the well established consequences. Enough already! My hope is that our local prosecutors will take a strong stance on this to teach this young man and others like him that we will not tolerate this behavior. That is the ONLY way it will stop.

  3. It would have been better to start a car/ truck/ trailer washing business. Results / outcome would have been more money and no picture. Think before you do things that you know are wrong.

      1. Javier,
Not judging. There is right and there is wrong.
By 18 one should know the difference.
Come to think of it, yes I am being mean and POINTING OUT THAT A CIVIL SOCIETY
DOES HAVE RULES AND JIMMYING SOMEWHAT ELSE’S CHANGE MACHINES
IS WRONG. It’s not a mistake, it’s lack of character.
So, the owner’s of the change machines can expect more of the same, then? “because there will be other’s who also make mistakes” that we should just shrug off ?
And that will lead a CIVIL SOCIETY like Brenham long HAD before the new morals drifted in to what?
One last thought, if it were YOUR machines and your money stolen, would feel the same way?
