  1. You ask the question who is Keith Cole, he is the young BLACK male kill approx. 2 yrs ago by an unknown person or persons and know more info has been heard about this murder, so someone out there knows something about this crime, true he may have not been an outstanding person of the community, but he was a son, father & husband. Maybe Brenham police have got plenty of training behind this investigation and CAN come up with some clues to help solve Keith cold case. RIP IN PEACE KEITH.

  2. In the case of this young man death I am glad they solved it and hopefully they did get the right suspect. He has not been proven guilty. My cousin was arrested in Lubbock for a crime he didn’t commit he died in prison but we fought n fought after and all the real guy that did it confessed. Read it Timothy Cole Act. So don’t point fingers until you really know. Oh yes he was black n the young lady was white. This was back in the 1980 so hmm

  3. They are picking and choosing who case they want to working on because I haven’t heard anything about Keith’s case. How do they know they have the right person? My guess is this racist town found someone that “fit” the description of someone and picked him up. I could be wrong but I sure know they are not trying as hard on Keith’s case and that is so sad. You have some officers that love to pick with our black males even when they are just walking. Brenham I’m not saying all cop are bad because I met some very nice one. But this town needs to get it together.

    1. Just because they haven’t released any public information on criminal cases does not mean that they aren’t investigating or working on the case. As you can see it takes time. It’s not an overnight process. Trust and believe that……. there is no wrong-doing or sin that goes unpunished.

    2. I resent the fact that you call this a racist town! Our officers have worked hard to find who killed this young man and I do not think it matters to them that he was black or white. The problem seems to be that no one wants to stand up and come forward to help for Keith Coleman’s murder. Is this a racist thing? More than likely not-it is the consensus in the black community that you keep your mouth shut and protect the guilty. How about stand up to the ones in your community that abuse, fight, kill, etc and take your own community back? Start raising the children to be respectful of people whether they are white or black instead of no respect at all?

  4. Drugs, crime, and violence are all around. When are these kids going to wake up and realize that there is a better life to be had? Instead they push drugs, behave worse than animals, and expect to get off for taking someone’s life.

They need to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law and he pays the ultimate price for taking another’s life. I love how just because he sat in church already makes him innocent in the eyes of others. Maybe he was there to repent, have you thought about that? I know a lot of lost souls who go to church not just because they are angels.

I hope for the family of the victim that this process moves quickly and answers are given. They have waited too long for justice.

    1. We need loving parents in this day that we live in! We need to get back to Christian values! We all mess up but we need to run to God! There are many who sit in church and are not saved! The soul is the most importance for everyone! We as a nation have turned from God and there r consequences for that! So many people want to take God out of America and expect to be blessed! Insanity! Parents need to help there kids and teach them Christ at an early age! May we bless God so God can bless us as a nation!

  5. I hope this is not true that this young man had anything to do with the murder of the young man a year ago to date. We do need to help and be parents to our kid and not there friend. The bible say raise up a child and he will never depart, we as BLACK AMERICANS have lost our kids to the system of violence it’s unbelievable. I have sit next to the young man in church what a lost if he was involved in anyway.

    1. Yes it has been almost two years and Kee baby’s killer has not been brought to justice because of the code of “no snitching” in our community. The right people know what happened but will not come forward. In this case I see that it has taken almost one year bc of someone probably finally doing the right thing. We need to come together and do what’s right instead of defend those that have chosen a life of crime. The police wang to solve the murders but with no cooperation it makes their job harder. They don’t want to have to add 20,000 other things to have to solve a case if they could get it from the people that knew what happened and were there the case would be solved in a matter of a few months than years. Our society is full of wanna be thugs and gangsters and we have to stop defending them and then blaming law enforcement for not doing anything. Rise up sand work for God young people.

    2. Would you rather them not solve this murder just because an older one hasn’t been solved? That’s not how justice works. This case has nothing to do with Mr. Coleman’s. If you have information on that one, why don’t you speak up?

BPD is not arresting innocent people in this case. They have spent a solid year collecting information to make sure they have the right people.

  6. Pushing the issue for this dude but what about for Keith Coleman ah African American who has been dead for 2 years now come on BPD

    1. It doesn’t mean they have the wrong person either. If you have information in this case, please come forward.

  7. So glad there’s finally closure played baseball with you man. Just is gonna be served. RIP KURTZY!!!

  8. Parents we need to wake up and start raising our children. They are the future. We need to stop trying to be their friends and be parents and rise them up in the way of the Lord. Thank God for Justice. There is no sin or wrong doing that goes unpunished.
May God bring peace to family of the victim. I know this can never bring such a young life lost back but I pray that the family atleast have some type of closure or peace.

  9. So glad to hear that an arrest has been made. Goes to show you that though we as the public do not know what is going on behind the scenes, the police are still working the case. It’s sad that such a young person has thrown his life away by taking the life of another. And the really sad part is that he has been walking around after taking said life as if nothing has happened. Just makes you wonder…….
