BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE PRESENTING ‘THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW’
Spooky storytelling takes the stage beginning this weekend in Brenham High School’s Black Box Theatre.
Cub Company presents “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, playing tomorrow (Saturday) through Saturday, November 7th. The story takes place in the secluded glen of Sleepy Hollow and follows the schoolmaster Ichabod Crane, his courting of the wealthy heiress Katrina Van Tassel, his encounters with the jealous Abraham “Brom Bones” Van Brunt, and the tales and superstitions surrounding the area, including those of the Headless Horseman.
Cheney Piechota and Garrett Robertson, who play as Katrina and Ichabod, said they have enjoyed being a part of the production and are eager to show audiences what they have crafted.
Piechota and Robertson say they look forward to bringing a haunting tale to life during this Halloween season.
Performances are at 2 p.m. tomorrow and on Sunday, 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 5th, and 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 7th. Seating in the Black Box Theatre is limited.
