BIKER BUSTED FOR DRUGS

  

A motorcyclist stopped in the 1000 block of North Park late last (Monday) night is facing numerous illegal drug possession charges that have been enhanced because he was within a thousand feet of Fireman’s Park.

Officer Jonathan Phipps stopped 41-year old Chadd Duane Medford of Brenham for an expired inspection sticker.  The officer was suspicious and asked to search the motorcycle.  He found a small amount of marijuana, methamphetamines and XANAX.  Medford was arrested for possession of marijuana, controlled substances and dangerous drugs.  All the charges were enhanced because he was in a drug free zone.
