A 13-year-old male passenger admitted to police he attempted to eat marijuana at Gonzalez’ direction. Both subjects were arrested.

The juvenile was transported to the Seguin Juvenile Detention Facility and charged with tampering with evidence.

  1. Better yet, don’t HAVE the marijuana, and you won’t have to EAT the marijuana. (So you don’t “chock”). I love it when people who break the law are all of a sudden experts on the law when it comes to loopholes.

  2. Smh, why? Cause they make more money with the arrest. The lawyers, and the county both. We have to pay for that soon to be built the over the top Justice Center. And its a great way to create jobs, jailers, bailiffs, etc. Just ask the property owners who get their taxes raised every year, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

  3. SMH,,, Why ?? If you get caught with weed in Austin,TX. The police write you a ticket. get caught with the same amount of weed in Brenham, Tx,,, you go to jail. Same State just another county..WHY smh??

    1. Why? Because we don’t want to become Austin. This is Brenham! If you don’t like it, move to Austin with the rest of the hippies and moochers.

      1. Not everyone in Austin is a hippie for one. Austin has bigger things to worry about instead of weed. Brenham on the other hand is a lot smaller with nothing to do in that town. Therefore with Brenham being smaller people will go to jail for a little bit of weed. And also I lived in Brenham but had to get out since its a town for older people who loves antiques. Other than that what is there to do in Brenham besides mini golf and a movie theater? Austin has plenty of jobs, things to do and things to explore which makes it fun.

  4. I don’t know all the circumstances but what is a 13 year old doing with an 18 year old that doesn’t appear to be a relative? Maybe the 13 year old’s parent(s) did not know?

  5. I don’t know the circumstances but where were the parents of a 13 year old when he was in the car with an 18 year old who apparently was not a family member?

  6. Thats right Jenny. And never give the officer consent to search your vehicle. NEVER! Its your right.

  7. The 5th. Amendment of the Constitution of the United States allows us to remain silent during a traffic stop when a police officer questions you. Use this right or lose it and don’t eat Marijuana. People have chocked to death. You are a very lucky kid.
