CHAPPELL HILL POWER OUTAGE

  

 Electric power has been restored to most of the residents of Chappell Hill after a major poweer outage this morning.  A power outage has hit 1461 member customers of the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative in Chappell Hill.  Wil Holford of the Cooperative says this has happened just as the coldest temperatures of the year has hit the area.

Holford says that at 6:45 this (Monday) morning, a ‘fault caused a breaker to open causing the power outage.

Holford says they have crews on the scene trying to repair the problem but did not project when the problem would be fixed. Holford now says they have found the cause of the power outage and they are backback feeeding the power to people who have lost their electricity.
