NO ONE INJURED AFTER VEHICLE FIRE IN BRENHAM THURSDAY
The Brenham Fire Department extinguished a vehicle fire Thursday afternoon.
Just after 2 p.m., units were called out to the 300 block of East Commerce Street, to a report of a vehicle fire. When they arrived, they found smoke and fire coming from the vehicle’s engine compartment.
According to B-Shift Captain Joshua Sebastian, the caller reported they were driving when their car started smoking. The driver then pulled over onto Commerce Street and called 911. It is unknown what caused the fire.
Firefighters used tank water to extinguish the fire, then returned to service. No one was hurt from the fire.
