DOG PARK CARNIVAL
The Animal Friends of Washington County are getting ready for a carnival at the dog park.
Susan Cantey, a long time volunteer for the Animal Friends says on November 23rd, you can take you dog and yourself out to the dog park, at 3901 36 North, close to the Connie Clinic for all sorts of fun for two and four legged beings.
Ms. Cantey says the carnival will be from 10am to 3pm and its all free family fun.
She says from noon to 2pm there will be demonstrations by the Houston Canine Frisbee Club. Cantey says this is a dazzling display of skils. The Brenham Police Department’s K-9 Unit will also put on a display during the carnival..
The Brenham Humane Society will work with people wanting to adopt animals. The Citizens on Patrol will do child fingerprinting and drug awareness. Miracle Farm will offer horse care information and dummy roping instructions for the youngsters. The Jonas Lacina Band will perform and so much more.
