FAYETTE COUNTY MAN KILLED IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT
The Fayette County Sheriff’s office is reporting a farming accident that killed a 66-year old man late Monday afternoon.
Fayette County Deputy responded to the incident and found a man pinned under the left rear tire of a tractor near the community of Praha. Reports say the tractor was parked on a slight incline and proceeded to roll forward, knocking the man to the ground and running over the victim, identified as Robert Schaefer.
The investigation continues but Lt. David Byers of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says it appears to be a purely accidental farming accident.
