WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET IN REGULAR SESSION TUESDAY

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court will be meeting in regular session on Tuesday morning.

Among the agenda items is for the Engineering and Development Services Department to seek bids for the 2027 annual material and services contracts.

These include contract mowing, culverts, bridge construction labor, fuel, oil/asphalt/emulsion, road construction materials, tires, steel products, contract hauling, emergency debris, tree and limb removal, and reinforced concrete box culverts.

Another item up for discussion is the approval of the final plat for Fifth Hills Subdivision located along FM 50. The plat consists of 19 lots in the J.W. Cole survey in Precinct One.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is also scheduled to make a request for the purchase of 45 tasers with them being paid for with grant funds coming from Senate Bill 22.

In addition to that, the commissioners are scheduled to approve the official bond for County Auditor Shawna Hollis.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets on Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
