Brenham firefighters and law enforcement officers responded to a different type of traffic collision in the late morning hours today (Tuesday).

A car hit the McDonalds on the U.S. 290 access road in the HEB Shopping Center. There does not appear to be any injuries but rescue crews were sent to the scene as a pre-caution.   One fire fighter reported that there was little structural damage besides some damage to a door frame.  The accident happened at about 11am.

A minivan hit the Brenham McDonalds on Highway 290 late Tuesday morning. No one was hurt.
