PARADE OF COLORS MARCH ON GOOD FRIDAY

  

Friday is the most solemn day on the Christian calendar and several churches in Washington County want to recognize this in many different ways.

Evangelist Brenda Hutchison says they are sponsoring the first ever ‘Parade of Colors March’ beginning at the Cannery Kitchen at 9am, Friday, Good Friday.The March will proceed from the Cannery Kitchen, down Main Street and then on to Fireman’s Park.  They will have a day of prayer and commemoration.

Later on the traditional Ecumenical Service will be at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at three pm.  This is a long time tradition from the Washington County Ministerial Alliance.
