LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WILL BE REMEMBERED IN BRENHAM

Flags were at half staff throughout the state and the nation yesterday, (Thursday) for Law Enforcement Remembrance Day.

The day recognizes the law enforcement officers who have fallen in the line of duty in the past year.

There was no commemoration in Brenham, however, even after a commemoration had been held for many years.

The comemoration of fallen law enforcement officers will resume Friday at the courthouse.
