ANOTHER DATE NIGHT AND DINNER AT THE CANNERY KITCHEN
The Covenant of Praise Center, along with the Rev. Randy Wells, is sponsoring another ‘Date Night and Dinner’ at the Cannery Kitchen.
In February, in the spirit of Valentines Day, the Wells and the Center, presented jazz/r and b, and funk saxophonist Christina Williams and her band for an evening of dancing dinner and romance.
The event went over so well, they figured to rekindle the romantic evening on Saturday, June 28th.
Christina Williams, who is now based in Houston, where she performs and teaches music, says she is glad to come back and says further, that they plan to ‘mix it up a bit’ this time.
Williams is originally from Brenham and is the daughter of the Rev. Johnny Williams. She and her friends perform jazz, Motown, and even more up to date music such as the work of John Legend.
The romantic evening begins at 6:30pm, Saturday, June 28th. The admission is $30 for couples and $15 for singles.
